The Indian Education System

Just some pieces of paper cant decide my future. But to the reality you are judged on the basis of your degrees as speaking of India. Today I am gonna talk about the indian education system and I will speak some things which Ofcourse have exceptions.

 Practicality is missing in the education system of India, you know the formula of phythagoras theorem but you don’t know where to apply this formula. We are introduced to the politics but we are always taught to be away from the political issues .

So here is the list of how this system is affecting to us - 

1.      Ratta Maar 

Conceptual learning is absent in Indian education system. You are introduced to new terms but just for exams and if you remember we often got replies “Ye portion main nahi hain” 

Students are capable of grasping things they are curious for and if this curiosity is ended by a statement then it creates a base for rote learning !   

2.      Marks system

Marks still continue to play the most important card in deciding the child`s future. This often comes down upon students as an burdening factor. This pressure of marks often makes students underperform.

Instead of focusing the evaluation on a three-hour exam, the focus of evaluation should be classroom participation by a student’s projects, communication, leadership skills and extra-curricular activities.

3.    Lack of equality for all subjects 

When I say I am pursuing diploma in printing tech, There is a sarcastic smile on many of the faces I share my story with. You know What matters is the vision and not the grades. Rattan tata, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mark Zukerbug, and a tons of examples where degree`s were missing but a proper view and prespective was present and the results are in front of you.

1. Relatability                                        Education and gender are related, education and caste are related also education and society are related. And so onn. Girls are taught just so that they get a proper partner like seriously what is wrong with you guys!

5.   The reservation system

Oo shhh! I cant speak about this too loud. I am pursuing a xyz course and I have a mate who is doing the same but he comes under general category. Hope you all have got where iam heading. But lets end it varna bawaal ho jayega.

6.   SEX education 

This chapter is cancelled for this years term” again if you kill child`s curiousity he will catch up the wrong way and of course the world wide web is so famous for it. Guys lets not make it a taboo - sex education is about our bodies and making the child aware abt the same is must. So lets not skip this chapter.

7.    Sports as a career

It is like “malharaji ladka haath se nikalte jaa rha hain” Sport plays an integral role in the character building of the child. Leadership,unity,hardwork,teamwork and many more qualities are important.

8.   Educating parents is also necessarySome parents force their child to take a particular stream and when they don’t get the proper result then again pressurizing him or her? Why ?  A 17 /18 year old can take a particular decision. Yes! I agree your concern experience but forcing a decision on him can turn out to be a divastating situation.

9.   Teaching the purpose of studying Education is not always about becoming rich and big personality. Its about spreading joy, smiles, setting milestones on the path of humanity and much more. We really need to know why are we studying.

10.  Money ~ Success 

We need to be taught that life is much beyond money and mainly success is not measured in money.

11.   Upgradation is must 

The technology is moving way to fast in a single year but on the contrary the statebooks are revised once in 5 years or sometimes 10. Updating knowledge is very necessary for the student to cope up with the world and its fast moving technology and research’s.

Lets not keep this a one sided story. There are many merits too in the education system of india like - the derioctirate of technical education in india focuses mainly upon the practical training of students which is actually helpful for the student. Also the researches made in indian institute of technology are world famous !
